HOKA ONE ONE, which means "Time to Fly” in the Maori language of New Zealand, was founded in 2009 by trail runners Jean-Luc Dieard and Nicolas Mermoud. The innovative athletic shoe brand has engineered a unique performance midsole geometry that features a higher volume, softer density, and greater rebounding foam than standard running shoes, providing a uniquely energizing, stable ride.
