The front features a print inspired by "Me, We," which Muhammad Ali improvised during a lecture at Harvard University in 1975 and is said to be the shortest poem in the world. This is the design.

Tohoku is known for its extensive factory sector and the excellent quality of its products, from electronics to handicrafts.

Many people in this region made a living from industry and the fishing industry, but many manufacturing bases were damaged by the tsunami caused by the largest earthquake on record in March 2011, making it difficult for factories to operate. have become.

This collection project was launched in May 2011, two months after the earthquake, with the hope of contributing to its recovery.

Our goal is to create a foundation for support and encourage independence through business, and all processes from cultivation to sewing are carried out in Tohoku. We also produce our own blend of organic cotton and organic hemp fabrics.
