Ryugu 30% is TOMITA’s signature brown sugar shochu. It uses local brown sugar and domestically grown rice koji and is brewed in traditional Kame pots, offering a nutty, toasted fragrance with a sweet, mineral flavor and smooth finish.

TOMITA was founded in 1951 in Naze, on Amami Oshima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture. It uses high-quality brown sugar from Kagoshima and Okinawa, and all of the ingredients are brewed slowly in large traditional jars that have remained unchanged since ancient times.
