I'd been on the hunt for the perfect pair of loafers for ages, but many options I came across had brand logos that were a bit too big or silhouette that was too chunky. I was almost giving up on the idea when I finally came across these Paraboot ORSAY loafers.
Just to clarify, Paraboot has men's loafers called REIMS, and ORSAY for women.
I always thought of this brand as a super classic, traditional, and iconic brand that I hadn't chosen in the past. However, the well-proportioned design fits well with all sorts of clothing, and it's already become a staple in my wardrobe.

While I'd heard they are comfortable, I needed to experience it myself, so to wear them in I wore them every other day after they arrived.
I usually wear 24.5cm or 25cm sneakers, depending on the brand, but with leather shoes, I prefer a snug fit. So, I went with size 4 (brand labeled as 23.5cm).
On the first day, I felt they were a bit tight, and I thought maybe I'd made a mistake. But then one of my friends who knows a lot about shoes told me that the cork between the outsole and midsole gradually settles and conforms to your foot shape, which became evident after wearing them for a few days.
Recently, I've become so reliant on comfortable shoes that I need to mentally prepare myself in the morning if I want to wear anything other than sneakers. These loafers, however, offer the comfort of sneakers while being actual leather shoes.

The calf leather used in the upper is a special material developed by Paraboot with a high oil content, making it resistant to rain and able to withstand various environmental conditions, including inclement weather and temperature fluctuations.
The original rubber sole is durable and has excellent grip, making it slip-resistant even on wet surfaces.
The design features impactful double stitching, which enhances waterproofing and durability by securely stitching the upper, welt, and outsole. It serves a meaningful purpose, but I like the way it looks too.
It's quite a long story, but in summary, these loafers are perfect leather shoes: they can be worn on rainy days, they're sturdy, low-maintenance, and look great.

These shoes have already been loved by many, so I don't need to say much more. I hope my experience can be helpful to those who are considering purchasing them.
